Whenever I try to use Bluetooth headphones during a Zoom meeting, I can’t get any sound to play from any application on my computer including Zoom unless I leave the meeting or change to a non-Bluetooth audio device.

I’ve searched all over for solutions and nothing seems to work. Here’s what I’ve tried: -In Zoom, selected the “Headphones” as the speaker -In Zoom, selected “Same as System” as the speaker -In Zoom, checked that the volume was not low or off -Restarted zoom after changing audio settings -In Windows, checked that the volume was not low or off -In Windows, in the Device Manager, checked that the Bluetooth drivers were up to date -In Windows, in the “Sound” menu “Playback” tab, checked that the headphones are enabled -In Windows, in the “Properties” menu “Advanced” tab, unchecked “Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device” -In Windows, in the “Volume Mixer”, checked that Zoom was not low volume or off -Restarted computer The headphones in question work very well outside of Zoom.

I’ve tried this with two different pairs of Bluetooth headphones made by different companies and both of them have the same problem. They connect to my desktop through a SoundBot Bluetooth dongle.

I will need to look at the settings. Still no solution to this problem. I’ve noticed this only occurs when Zoom is set to use both the speakers and the microphone in my Bluetooth headphones. If I change the mic to a different one like the one in my webcam , I get audio from my speakers.

Of course, the microphone in my webcam is awful so I’m still looking for an answer here. Did your headphones have software to use? Is there a reason you are not using your headphones for the zoom calls? Also to confirm, are you able to hear sound when you use the Test Speakers?

I’m not aware of any software for the headphones. I just connected using Bluetooth and they worked outside of Zoom. When I try to use my headphones for Zoom meetings, I can’t hear anything, not even from other programs. I cannot hear anything when I use “Test Speaker”. This only happens while Zoom is running.
